Performance and Capability
A turbocharged 1.5-liter engine powers the Equinox lineup, producing up to 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, but you can opt for AWD on all but the base model. You can also take advantage of a towing capacity of up to 3,500 if you need to bring extra gear along for the ride.
Cargo Capacity
With all the seats up, the Equinox can accommodate five passengers and still have 29.9 cubic feet of space in the cargo hold. Fold the seats down, however, and you can make up to 63.9 cubic feet of cargo space that you can use to stow groceries, camping gear, luggage, furniture, and more. The Equinox makes it easy to make room for passengers and cargo on the fly, making it the ideal companion for your everyday adventures.
